About
Quiet on purpose.
Most faith-based apparel makes you choose. Either the shirt says something and you spend the day being a billboard, or it says nothing and there was no reason to buy it here instead of anywhere else.
HUDOR is built to skip that choice. The garment is a premium blank first. Heavyweight cotton, color that settles in instead of sitting on top, seams that survive a real laundry cycle. You would buy it if it had no meaning attached at all.
Then there is one water drop on the left chest, small enough that most people read it as a design mark. Inside the collar is the verse it comes from. Nobody sees that but you and whoever is folding your laundry.

The name.
Hudor is the Greek word for water, written ὕδωρ in the original text and said HOO-dor. It is the word in John 4, where Jesus tells a woman at a well that the water he gives becomes a spring inside the person who drinks it. Living water, in the language the conversation was first written down in. That is a better idea than anything we could print across a chest, and it is the reason this brand is quiet by design.
How we make decisions.
Three rules. If a design would embarrass you in a work meeting, it does not get made. If a claim cannot be backed up, it does not get written. If a piece will not still be wearable in five years, it does not get produced. Those rules cost us some easy sales and we are fine with that.

The standards
Built like the meaning depends on it.
Fabric with weight.
Tees run from a 5.5 oz everyday weight up to an 8 oz max-heavyweight jersey, all in 100% cotton. Fleece runs 13 to 14 oz with a brushed back. The garment-dyed pieces are dyed after sewing, so the color settles into the cotton instead of sitting on top of it.
Construction that holds.
Set-in rib collars, taped necks and shoulders, double-needle hems, heavy rib on the fleece. The unglamorous details that decide whether a piece still sits right after a year of laundry.
A mark that lasts.
The drop is embroidered wherever the fabric allows and high-density printed where it is not. Nothing heat-pressed, nothing that cracks in the dryer, nothing across the chest.
The money.
Profit from HUDOR goes to charitable causes rather than back into a founder's pocket. The recipient partners are being finalized now and will be published on the giving page. We publish what was given and where. If a period was slow, the report says so.
What we are not.
We are not a ministry and we do not present ourselves as one. Buying a shirt is not an act of worship, it is a purchase, and we will never sell it as anything more than that. We are a clothing company that decided ahead of time what the profit is for.
Good blanks, a quiet mark, and a margin with a job.
That is the whole brand.
